Top ten finish secured at annual Buccleuch Property Challenge

September 2019

Earlier this month we were delighted to once again take part in the annual Buccleuch Property Challenge in Dumfriesshire.

Two Naylors teams entered the 2019 event, made up by Fergus Laird, Dean Clark, Martyn Collins, Tamsin Swann, Katy Clark and Penny McAteer. A successful end to the day saw us achieve a ninth-place finish, representing our best result to date at the event.

The outdoor pursuit challenge takes place at Drumlanrig Castle on the Duke of Buccleuch’s estate and includes mountain biking, orienteering and a number of specific challenges.

The event always attracts any excellent attendance from across the UK and this year the weather was particularly kind.

Fergus Laird, head of investment at Naylors commented: “The Buccleuch Challenge is a very popular event within our firm and once again we entered two teams into the event. Finishing in ninth place is our best result to date which is fantastic.”

“The Duke of Buccleuch’s estate is a spectacular location and the event is always superbly organised, with an excellent BBQ to close the day!”
